Rana, was a legendary veteran actor in the Nepali film industry renowned for his commanding screen presence, distinct voice, and versatile acting style. Over a career spanning several decades, he acted in over fifty feature films, including iconic titles like Chino, Koseli, Basanti, and Seto Bagh. Despite his aristocratic lineage and successful acting career, Rana faced severe financial hardships and health complications in his later years, eventually passing away from heart complications at the age of 79 on February 1, 2019, leaving behind a lasting legacy as one of Kollywood's most disciplined and elegant character actors.
