Bella Zoe Martinez

n she noticed how characters with autism are often portrayed in film and television. Of this, she says: "All autistic characters were the same stereotype with no real depth to them as a person. There was never an understanding of how we think or see the world, or went beneath the surface in a character sense. I want to change that.”

A jack-of-all-trades, Bella is also a recording artist - she wrote the song "Distant Goodbyes" featured in the film Once More, Like Rain Man, and has a new original single soon to be released, Garden of Art, as well as recording the theme song for an animated show, Mama's Ducks. She also designs merch with her brother and sister under the Artsy Toon Co. banner. Bella is the great grand-niece of Mexican Film star Jorge Negrete.
